Two days ago my order with MMC'09 goodies arrived. What a nice surprise. The coffee table book brings back such fond memories. Included in the packet was a live recorded CD of the praise and worship. And I really thought that I wouldn't shed any more tears after so many months. Track 6 starts of quite normal and suddenly after roughly 2 minutes.......The music and the voice of Andy dies down and all you can hear is the voices of thousands of men in perfect unison!! I cried my heart out! The CD ends with countless thousands shouting AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!! My two sons listened and cried with me, They will join me at Shalom next year. Angus and everyone involved....Thanks brothers and sisters. Jesus here we come......MMC2010....

I would LOVE my Dad to come to the MMC2010 but unfortunately my funds do not allow it. He lives in England and is turning 60 this year. Is there anybody out there who could possibly assist with a flight ticket? This is the last conference and I really don't want him to miss it and it would be a beautiful 60th birthday present for him. I would like him to listen to Angus as he too has had hardships in his life and had to leave his beloved Zimbabwe and make a new home in England. Any help would be appreciated.

Angus, why is this the last conference ? I have just started in the faith !!!!You cannot stop ! Speak to the Lord ! Have you considered a MMC in each province ?

I have seen that you act on instruction of God. That is why the actions you launch are blessed. It is not you who have a conference, but God who is working in this country to draw men to head to the calling of the Lord.

Now we have seen how the Holy spirit has worked to multiply the number men of the country to come back to the Lord and live a life that is pure and in His will. The call has been heard all over the country to come clean with the Lord.

Is that fact that this year's conference is the last an indication that the period of grace to come clean is drawing to an end? Or is it just a matter of logistics? There are many men like Harrie and myself who wonder why this is the last Conference.

It is the last conference because oom Angus has now made more than enough money to move to the bahamas and sip margaritas while watching the local wildlife on the beach through his powerful Boere binoculars.

Can't wait for MMC. It is the first year we will be going and we can't wait!!

PRAYER REQUEST: Our husband's are at the mighty men conference, but our pastor John Boerstra was not able to go. He is on fire for the Lord, but has cancer. Please pray for healing for him. He has a heart/calling for church planting, and we still need him to guide and teach us. We have been praying for the safety, protection and most of all -the will of God in this conference. God is great, almighty and talking to the men of SA. All praise, honour and glory be to HIM! Our Redeemer lives!

This happened to me Sunday morning, we all at camp stayed up late taking about the weather miracle on Saterdya night, this made us wake up late on Sunday and we couldnt find any place close to the stage where the "vibe" is "lekker". After the first song, i and my best friend said we would love to sit closer, we decided to PLOW, Not looking back once and walking straight towards the stage to the very first row in front og the stage. We had faith and alot of it. When we reached the stage, someone called my name, i looked to my left and saw an old school friend very happy to see me again, he immediately asked us to sit with them right in front of the stage. WE HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES,, AMEN AMEN

What an amazing life changing experience. I would like to thank GOD for giving each of the men there another chance in life and for teaching to be watchmen of out homes.For the first time last night I could pray loud for and with my family and again this morning as a good watchman should. I pray to God that every man who attended will keep on living what we were taught.
I received confirmation from God that I am 1 of his sons and he accepts me for who I am. I feel cleansed and physically new.
Thank you Jesus!!

I was at the conference this year(2010) for the first time. I can trully say that it has made a diffirence in my life. Thank you God for bringing mankind together to worship your mighty name! I promise to be a good watchman and to gather your sheep to the best of my ability.

What an amazing life enriching experience I had this weekend. I went on my knees this morning and asked my wife for forgiveness for those things I did that was wrong and promised that I will never go there again. I promised this to Jesus this weekend with and in front if thousands of witnesses.

A hearty big thank you for having all us men as guests and friends on your farm. Our Lord Jesus Christ has truely captured all our hearts over the MMC 2010 weekend. We as South Africans and, men all over the world, have been called to be Watchmen of the house and spread the word of our Father, Jesus Christ. We have also all been called to bring back family structure, as it has been lost over the years. I pray that MMC continues, in what ever form, so more people repent their sins and follow Christ.

The weekend was absolutely fantastic. Every second a gift from God Himself!!
Six months ago I met a Canadian gentleman named Henry via this site. We chatted and he took the final step to visit Shalom during the Conference. We had a stunning time and we witnessed many miracles since we chatted the first time and the weekend was no exception. The real miracle happened when he wanted to fly back home via Germany though. We took off to the airport on Monday afternoon at 1 well knowing that there is no flights available to Europe. He had to fly via Germany to Vancouver. We arrived at the Lufthansa counter(no queues) and they told us there was no flights because the German airport was closed. They told us that they will pay if we can find any other flight with any carrier to the USA. Off we went in a desperate search. Nothing was available and we eventually sat down in desperation to have some coffee. A calm came over me as I told Henry that we had to go to Lufthansa once again. This was around 4pm. We arrived there and somehow there was no queues again. They handed him a letter to confirm that all flights were canceled. Just as we were about to leave a woman came rushing to the window and she told us that there is only one flight leaving to Germany and that Henry was on it. We couldn't believe what she just told us.......Henry checked in and his flight left at 8:55. Thousands of people are still stranded on OR Tambo as I write this blog!!

The weekend was a blessing, and I love you and your family. You opened your house to us, and your hospitality was wonderful.
Besides a nice time I made a re-commitment to the Lord and I have been getting up at 5 every morning to spend time with the Lord. Yes I know by then you're busy with your 2nd cup of coffee - but for me this is wonderful! The Spirit has been waking me up every morning - it is just so wonderful. My wife has commented on the change she's already seen - and this is just thanks to the Lord. But the lord had to use someone and luckily you stepped up to the plate - thank God for you and your family. I bless you with the best of God's blessings, for you and your family. I pray that the seed you have sown will grow roots and the harvest will be plentiful.
